Wild Unknown Facts

There are many animal lovers out there, including myself. Therefore, this design project was an effort to create a fun and creative opportunity for learning "unknown" facts about mammals around the world.

This infographic card set began with rough sketches which soon developed into simplistic drawings of the different mammals. These were then developed further to create the illustrations that would be used on the final product. 

In addition to designing the cards themselve a box was also designed to create the final deck. Here you can see the die cut for the final box layout. It incorporates a fun adventurous pattern and typeface to communicate the contents held inside the box. 

The final card design has two sides, the front on which is depicted the animal and its name along with safari colors and patterns. On the back, one can see three widely unknown facts about the animal along with where they are located on the globe. The overall goal of this project was to inform the viewer with a fun and interactive product. With the bright color choices and efficient box not only can these cards be a source of new knowledge, they can also easily be taken on the go.
