This museum proposal was created with the intent of bringing people together to learn about the world of textiles. The goal was to create a brand identity, backed largely by the logo itself. The logo shown is a combination of organic shapes, uplifting colors, and of course a structure that looks like a ball of yarn. Based on the brand identity, a website, and stationery set were created. After designing the essentials, additional applications were also designed; museum tickets, tote bags, and yarn labels.
The brand has a set color palette and font set, as well as yarn images and pastel-colored circles that are to be used in any design layouts. The font choice was based on the need for a fun and friendly font for header purposes and a more simple yet still unique font to act as a subhead.
The logo shown here is the finished product of the above drafts, as you can see it is truly a culmination of all that came before it. The curving "Ts" are made to look like strands of yarn wrapping around the ball in a way that is still legible.
